Anyone paying their water bill to SW Water should have received a letter from them saying that you can become a shareholder. You get free share/s and are entitled to vote. As a shareholder you can make your voice heard about sewage that spills over from their water treatment plants into our seas and rivers.
Click here for background about the scheme from the SAS.
To register: your customer number and access code are on the back page of your letter. You'll also need your National Insurance number and your bank details so they can pay any dividends.
Go to the Water Share Website and complete your details (on the Date of Birth - double click on the year on the calendar and it's much quicker to fill in).
We have until 9th October 2020 to claim our voting rights.
