You need to see this graph. This is taken from the best climate science, and it shows that global warming emissions must plummet to half by 2030, and to zero by 2040 (2055 at the outside). See the stark contrast between the rise to now, and the necessary decrease. This is the graph of what we must do to keep global warming within 1.5°C. At 1.5°C, bad things start happening – such as a sea level rise of up to 77 cm by 2100 – and many metres for centuries to come. Above 1.5°C, the consequences are really bad. As individuals, employees, business owners or leaders – we all need to drop emissions fast. This graph comes from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). This is reliable, mainstream science.
