The Turn Lyme Green/Plastic Free Lyme Regis Christmas Tree this year was a work of art! Completely hand made (apart from the lights for safety reasons...) the trunk was the cardboard inner from a roll of material, the branches bamboo canes with cardboard boxes borrowed from outside the shops carved into pine needle fingers. Painted with poster paint and decorated with minature Boomerang Bags. Elves made paper chains and candy canes and tiny satsumas to fit into the bags. A clay painted star with an Ammonite toppped the tree and Santa and his reindeer raced around the base.
