Lyme Regis was the first town in Dorset to get the SAS 'Plastic Free' Award and many others are following our lead. Yesterday BBC Radio Solent's breakfast programme featured an interview with Grenville Barr, the chairperson of 'Plastic Free Lyme Regis' and Keian Gillet, owner of the Galley Cafe, one of the first wave of businesses to gain the SAS Plastic Free Communnities Award in Lyme Regis. The programme is peppered with references to Lyme Regis and other Dorset towns such as Wimborne, who are keen to reduce the single use plastic items and use alternatives.

To listen in click here, the main interview is 1 hour and 36 seconds to the show.
